A three-vehicle crash Friday, Mar. 6 in southwest Missouri injured seven people, with a Sedalia woman the most seriously hurt.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 26-year-old woman was driving her SUV
north on Route 13, about two-and-a-half miles north of Humansville, when at around 4:30 p.m., a pickup driven by 75-year-old Warsaw man made a left turn from the southbound lanes onto a county road and into her path. The SUV struck the pickup, coming to rest on the shoulder, while the pickup collided with a Jeep driven by a 28-year-old man from Bolivar.

Troopers say the Sedalia woman was not wearing her seat belt and sustained serious injuries. Two passengers in her car received minor injuries; the three were taken to a Bolivar hospital. A 51-year-old Warsaw woman who was a passenger in the pickup suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a Springfield hospital. The Warsaw driver and another passenger were taken to Bolivar with minor injuries; troopers note that no one in the truck had been wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. The Bolivar driver was also treated for minor injuries.
