A Kingsville man was seriously injured in a Johnson County accident on Monday, March 9.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old Kingsville man attempted to turn and struck a truck driven by a 16-year-old Pleasant Hill juvenile while traveling along Johnson County Route W.

The Kingsville driver was taken to Research Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The Pleasant Hill teen had minor injuries and sought his own treatment.

The crash was reported at 12:39 p.m. at Northwest 100 Road in Johnson County.
