The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the reopening of the Puzzle Creek Bridge carrying Route KK outside Keytesville.
The new bridge opened Wednesday, Mar. 11 after the previous span closed in November for replacement. It’s the latest bridge completed in the Northwest Bridge Bundle, the design-build project repairing or replacing 31 bridges across North Central Missouri considered to be in poor condition. Two bridges included in this project remain under construction in Chariton County: the Route PP bridge east of Salisbury over the Chariton River overflow channel, and the Route O bridge over Bee Creek south of Bynumville.
A progress tracker and additional updates about the Northwest Bridge Bundle are posted on MoDOT’s website.
