
The Carrollton R-VII School District is projected to spend an additional $9100 on staff health insurance plans next school year.
The district’s board of education approved the increase at their meeting Tuesday, Mar. 10. Supt Dr Tinna Croy says several factors are leading to the increase.

Carrollton renewed their health insurance for the next year through the Ozark Schools Benefits Association.
Also Tuesday night, the board approved the purchase of a new school bus. Croy says this bus will replace one their older units.
Carrollton’s school board also renewed their food service agreement with Opaa, and received an update on plans for summer school. Carrollton will run summer school from May 26 through June 19.
