A striping project along U.S. Route 65 in Carroll and Livingston Counties has been delayed by several days due to weather conditions.

Contractors Capital Paving and Construction planned to begin striping the roadway from U.S. Route 36 in Chillicothe to north of County Road 368 north of Waverly beginning on March 16th, but the work will now begin on Wednesday, March 18th.

The striping work is part of a resurfacing project on U.S. Route 65 that began in April 2025. Striping will be a moving operation with a 16-foot width restriction in place. Motorists should expect delays

All work is expected to be complete by Wednesday, April 1.
