Two change orders were approved by the Moberly City Council during its meeting on Monday, March 16th.
The first change order came from Courtney Construction to allow for an extension for a sidewalk project on East Rollins Street. Community Relations Manager Scott McGarvey says inclement weather over the past week has caused the delay.
The other change order was granted for the contract with Brown & Root Industrial Services, who is working on cleanup for the Wabash Heights ARPA Stormwater Project. A major line item was removed from the contract, reducing the net contract amount by $119,000.
In other news, McGarvey says several road closures are scheduled for this week as the weather starts to warm up.
McGarvey also says sewer manhole replacement work will take place on Johnson Street, leading to road closures on the 300 block between West End Place and West Coates. The roadway will be closed until Monday, March 23rd.
