
Authorities in Randolph County worked together to arrest a Moberly man with an active warrant stemming from drug charges filed in 2024.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, along with officers from the United States Marshal’s Service, Eastern District of Missouri E/MO Fugitive Task Force, Moberly Police Department, and Missouri State Highway Patrol coordinated to conduct an arrest operation on a suspect identified as Dennis Nash on Tuesday, March 17th. Nash had an active warrant for 2024 charges of trafficking drugs in the second degree and maintaining a public nuisance.
According to a probable cause statement, Nash allegedly refused to comply with lawful commands issued by officers during the arrest operation. Due to the Nash’s noncompliance, the Moberly Area SWAT Team was requested to assist in safely resolving the situation. After approximately seven hours, Nash was taken into custody without further incident.
Nash is facing new charges of possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash only. A bond review hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 23rd, at Randolph County Circuit Court.
