Local crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close Missouri Route 124 in Howard County next week to replace a culvert.

Crews plan to close Route 124 west of Harrisburg, between Howard County Routes A and Y from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25. Changeable message boards are in place to alert drivers of the upcoming closure.

During the closure, local property owners will be able to access driveways, but through traffic will need to seek an alternate route. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
