A temporary disruption in water service will occur in the City of Moberly on Thursday, March 26th to allow a new tie-in to the area water main.
The work will cause a water outage affecting customers on the 300 and 400 block of North Avenue, all of Wheeler Street, and the surrounding areas. Water service will be restored after construction is complete.
A 48-hour boil advisory will go into effect for the affected residents once water service is restored. During the advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking. Customers with questions should call the city’s water office at 660-263-4420.
