A 59-year-old Sedalia man was reportedly killed after being struck by an Amtrak train in Pettis County on Monday, March 24th.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the pedestrian was attempting to cross the tracks near U.S. Highway 50 and Route TT before being struck and killed by the westbound train at 7 p.m.

Authorities report no injuries were reported for the train’s passengers.
