A Centerview man incurred moderate injury after his motorcycle struck the rear of a pickup truck on a Kansas City area interstate just before noon Thursday, Mar. 26.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 33-year-old was driving his Harley south on Interstate 470, when at around 11:50 a.m., his motorcycle struck the back of a pickup. The crash just past the intersection with Lakewood Blvd. ejected the rider from his bike. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. No injuries were reported for the pickup’s driver.
