Santa Fe High School is hosting another community forum on Wednesday to discuss various issues affecting rural school districts.

Wednesday’s forum will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Greg Prather Gymnasium at Santa Fe High School. Superintendent Derek Lark says this second forum gives attendees the opportunity to pose questions and learn more about the issues affecting rural school districts during four breakout sessions.

Lark says each the sessions will focus on issues ranging from Senate Bill 3, to funding in rural education.

Each session will last about 25 minutes. Attorney Duane Martin, who led last Tuesday’s discussion, will be present and leading one of the breakout groups along with many other administrators and public educators throughout the area. Lark encourages residents to attend and ask questions.
