A Moberly man sustained moderate injury when his SUV went off a highway east of Clifton Hill early Saturday, Apr. 4.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 46-year-old man had swerved to avoid another vehicle as he was driving west on U.S. Route 24 around 2:15 a.m. His SUV went off the right side of the road and struck a telephone pole. The man was taken to a Moberly hospital.
