The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved an agreement allowing the city to take part in the Ground Emergency Medical Transportation Uncompensated Cost Reimbursement Program.
City Administrator Jeanette Dobson says the agreement through MO HealthNet allows the city to receive reimbursement for the costs of emergency Medicaid transports.
Aldermen also approved an administrative fee agreement to cover the administrative costs of the program.
The board also accepted the April 7th election results and administered the Oath of Office to its newly elected officials. Lee Barker was reelected in Ward 1, Kellie Berry in Ward 2, and Galen Tuley in Ward 3. Don Knehans was also reelected as Mayor.
