Ahead of Monday’s Memorial Day holiday, volunteers spent part of last weekend installing 14 more bricks along the Saline County Walk of Honor outside the courthouse.

The newest bricks were installed on the south side of the square May 16 by a team of five current and former county employees. Charlie Guthrie reminds residents that they can purchase a brick to honor eligible veterans for their service by picking up an application from the offices of the county treasurer, county recorder, or county collector.
