The Knob Noster Board of Aldermen approved a proclamation celebrating the city’s establishment during its meeting on Tuesday, May 19.
City Administrator Cameron Jackson says Mayor Perry Byerly wanted to pursue this proclamation and celebrate May 30 as a local holiday in the city.
As part of the proclamation, patrons can get $3 off the cost of wristbands for next week’s Knob Noster. The fair will begin Thursday and run until Saturday. Jackson provided more information about the fair’s events.
In other news from Tuesday’s Board of Aldermen meeting, the board announced its intention to adopt the 2024 International Building Code during its second meeting in June.
