Thursday, January 2, was the first day for Missouri farmers to submit applications for a license to grow industrial hemp in Missouri. But University of Missouri Professor Ray Massey says farmers should weigh their options, saying hemp prices have dropped sharply in recent months.

This is the first time hemp has been grown in Missouri since the second World War.
