The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, and per the Town of Carrollton Code of Ordinances, Section 367.010, it has enacted the Emergency Snow Route.
A news release from the Carrollton Police Department says during the time of the Emergency Snow Route activation, vehicles are prohibited from parking on certain streets declared an emergency snow route. However, the city is permitting the parking of vehicles in the parkways, which is normally a violation, during this time as city officials understand not every house has a driveway.
Remember, vehicles are subject to tow during the time an Emergency Snow Route is activated.
