Two out-of-state residents have been charged with felonies for allegedly having a large cache of a controlled substance inside a vehicle during a traffic stop on September 26, 2019, on I-70 in Lafayette County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper- with the help of a canine- authorities located approximately 53 vacuum-sealed packages containing marijuana in the trunk. Each package weighed approximately one pound.
According to court documents, 22-year-olds Skyler Ramon Healey, of Eureka, California, and Candace S. Cohoon, of Creve Coeur, Illinois, each has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
Criminal summonses have been issued, and each of the charged persons is due for an initial appearance at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
