During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, January 28, commissioners opened a bid for the purchase of a narcotics detector for the sheriff’s office.
Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner explained.
Fenner said commissioners were able to see the detector in action.
Commissioners took the bid under advisement during that meeting. Sheriff Cindi Mullins looked over the bid and recommended it be approved. Commissioners approved the bid of $25,753 during their meeting on Thursday, January 30.
