During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, February 25, Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner gave an update on the progress of a turn-lane project on U.S. Highway 65.

In other business, commissioners approved a request made by Stephen J. Olson with Malta Bend American Legion Post 558 to utilize the courthouse grounds for the Veterans’ Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11. If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the rotunda inside the courthouse in Marshall.
