Saline County Circuit Clerk Becky Uhlich was at the meeting of the county commission on Tuesday, June 2, and gave an update on the progress the court system has made in the opening process.

Uhlich said her office is still working rotating shifts through June 12. She said: “Hopefully our office will be at full staff June 15. Hopefully the court will be back in full operation by that time also.”
Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden said the judge has urged only essential persons be in the courtroom for proceedings.

Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner said there still is only one entrance into the courthouse.

The handicapped entrance on the west side is how patrons can enter the courthouse at this time.
