A 37-year-old Sedalia man charged with felonies following an alleged assault in February has a hearing scheduled for next month.
According to a probable-cause statement, on February 28, during a domestic dispute, a woman claimed Shiloh D. Best struck her with hammer in the head.
Best has been charged with a Class D Felony for Domestic Assault in the Second Degree and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.
Best entered a not guilty plea and waived his formal arraignment. A Hearing in this cause is set to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 17 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
