A Bogard man is facing a felony charge in Saline County.
According to a probable-cause statement at just about 2:30 a.m. on July 1, deputies were dispatched to Fireworks Outlet in reference to an alarm. A deputy noticed a truck in the parking lot that was registered to Jimmie Erwin. The deputy went inside the store, but nobody was in the building. The building was secured and authorities left the area.
At 9 a.m., the manager of the business contacted the sheriff’s office and said through watching the surveillance video, three individuals entered the store at 11:10 p.m. (on June 30) and did not exit. Later, one of the subjects was identified as Erwin.
Erwin has been charged with Burglary in the Second Degree. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash or surety.
Erwin was arraigned on July 10. His next hearing is set for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at Saline County Circuit Court.
