During the meeting of the Higginsville Board of Aldermen on Monday, July 20, the board approved an interconnection and delivery service agreement with Evergy (formerly KCP&L).
In other news, City Administrator Jeanette Dobson explains the execution of a Quit Claim deed to vacate an unused right-of-way on 25th Street Terrace.

Dobson also says the city received some CARES Act funding, earmarked for improvements at the airport.

Also, Josh Fisher was recognized for 20 years of service as an employee of the city.
