A Marshall resident reported his vehicle was stolen on July 18.
According to a police report, the man said sometime between 11 p.m. on July 17 and 7:30 a.m. on July 18 his 2003 Saturn Ion was stolen from in front of his residence in the 1000 block of South Brunswick Avenue.
An investigation revealed another person had access to the victim’s house, and that person is a suspect. The victim said the suspect had asked to use a vehicle to travel to Ohio. The vehicle was later located by authorities at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Toledo, Ohio. The male driver and female passenger were taken into custody. The vehicle was seized and stored at Toledo Police Department impound lot.
Formal charges have not been filed. By policy, KMMO will not release the name of the suspect(s) until formal charges are filed.
