The Cooper County Public Health Center continues to encourage social distance distancing and protective measures by businesses that are remaining open during the current COVID-19 crisis.
A news release says the health center is committed to sharing information and has staff on call 24/7. When the health department receives notification of a positive COVID-19 case, it will alert the community.
The office remains open to serve WIC program clients and provide core public health services- such as birth and death certificates; disease surveillance; and emergency planning and response.
The center has reduced the number of routine services it is providing to limit traffic and exposure between its clients and staff.
The health center says if you have any questions, call (660) 882-2626.
