The number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the state of Missouri increased by more than 200 on Monday, April 13.
According to the Department of Health and Senior Services, the total number of positive cases is now 4,388- up from 4,160 cases on Sunday, April 12.
There have been 47,680 tests conducted by all labs.
The number of deaths increased from 110 on Sunday to 114 on Monday.
In the KMMO listening area, 27 cases have been confirmed in Lafayette County (although healthcare officials in the county confirm 28); 23 in Saline County (although healthcare officials in the county now confirm 35); four in each Chariton and Cooper County; three in Pettis County; and two in Howard County.
In addition, 82 positive cases have been confirmed in Boone County; 39 in Johnson County; eight in Randolph County; seven in Ray County; four in each Henry County and Linn County; three in Benton; and one in Livingston County.
One death has been reported in each Lafayette, Boone, Henry and Linn County.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14.
