A couple of drivers were clocked going excessive speeds on Missouri’s roadways on Tuesday, April 14.
According to a tweet from a trooper in Troop A, a driver was stopped for speeding near Sedalia. He was clocked at 143 miles per hour- 78 miles per hour over the posted speed limit of 65 on that stretch of U.S. Highway 65.
Another tweet from Troop C says rush-hour traffic may be light, but there is never a safe time to drive 115 miles per hour.
“Troopers across our state continue to commonly see speeds like this over the past few weeks. Please don’t do this! Don’t risk your life or the life of others traveling around you!!”
