Area residents are invited to take advantage of drive-thru COVID-19 testing in Lexington on Thursday, April 30.
According to the Health Care Collaborative of Rural Missouri and Live Well Community Health Center, a pop-up testing event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lexington 4 Life Center.
There will be no out-of-pocket costs for the test; however, if you have health insurance or Medicare or Medicaid, you are urged to bring your insurance card, along with a photo ID.
Every person tested will receive a follow-up phone call from a licensed-care coordinator or provider.
If you think you have symptoms (fever, fatigue, cough, sneezing, aches and pains, runny/stuffy nose, sore throat, diarrhea, headaches, shortness of breath, or loss of smell or taste) and want to be tested, you must call and speak with HCC staff to determine eligibility for testing.
If you receive a positive result, the health department will be notified and will be in touch with you.
