The Saline County University of Missouri Extension office opened on Monday, May 18.
A news release says the hours are 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
Procedures have been put in place for the facility in order to meet COVID-19 policies:
1. Social distancing will be maintained by serving only one customer at a time in the office. Officials ask that anyone waiting to check the occupancy at the breezeway, then remain outside or in their cars until the office is available.
2. You are urged to wear a face mask.
3. No pesticide training will be done in the office, as it is available online, and the office will assist. Study guides are available for purchase at the office.
Many requests can be handled over the phone or e-mail, and officials ask that you call (660) 886-6908 first so that they may try to help in this way if possible.
