Some action items were taken care of during the meeting of the Glasgow School Board during its meeting on Wednesday, April 15.
According to unofficial meeting minutes, the board approved an extra-duty mowing contract to Mick Cropp for $2,700 from June through August for all areas of the school, with the exception of John Donaldson Field.
The board approved a mowing and maintenance contract to Garrett Fuemmeler for $120 per week from April through October for John Donaldson Field.
The board also approved to add the vice president as a signer of school checks in case an emergency arises, and the president or treasurer is unable to sign checks.
In addition, Superintendent Sonya Fuemmeler provided the board with an update on the current school closure due to COVID-19. The board also discussed graduation and will be sending an additional survey to seniors and their parents before a graduation date is set.
