The Saline County Sheriff has been alerted by two Saline County citizens they were contacted by someone using a telephone number appearing to come from the Saline County Sheriff’s Department. This scam involves thee calling parties attempting to obtain personal identifying information such as Social Security numbers.
The Saline County Sheriff’s Department will not call you to verify personal information or advise you of a warrant. Should you receive such a call, please hang up and contact the Sheriff’s Department.
