The number of positive cases of COVID-19 spiked by more than 1,000 in Missouri on Tuesday, July 21.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the total number increased by 1,138 from 33,624 on Monday, July 20, to 34,762 on Tuesday since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by 11 from 1,132 on Monday to 1,143 on Tuesday.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22.
