The Missouri Valley College football team is picked fourth in the Heart of America Athletic Conference 2020 Heart Football Preseason Poll South Division of the heading into the 2020 season.

The Vikings come into the 2020 season after finishing with a 3-8 overall record in 2019.  Missouri Valley tied for fourth in the six-team division.  Benedictine (Kan.) College was chosen to win the division, receiving three first place votes.  Baker (Kan.) University is second with two first place votes, and Evangel (Mo.) University is third with one first place vote. MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) University is tied with the Vikings at fourth, and Central Methodist (Mo.) University finished out the poll at sixth.

In the North Division, Grand View (Iowa) University was picked first, followed by William Penn (Iowa) University and Culver-Stockton (Mo.) College tied at second.  Clarke (Iowa) University is picked fourth, Peru State (Neb.) College was fifth, and Graceland (Iowa) University came in at sixth.

Missouri Valley will open its nine-game season at home against Culver-Stockton at 1 p.m., Sept. 12.  Senior Day is scheduled for Nov. 7, against MidAmerica Nazarene at 1 p.m.
