Roadways that were closed due to flooding in the KMMO listening area earlier this week continue to reopen.
According to MoDOT, in Saline County, Highway 127- north of Sweet Springs and I-70- at Salt Pond Creek; and Route VV- north of I-70 near Emma have been reopened to traffic.
However, Old Highway 40- south of I-70 and west of Sweet Springs; and Route UU- just east of U.S. Highway 65 at Lemon Trail- remain closed in Saline County.
Highway 224- between Lexington and Wellington- remains the only roadway closed in Lafayette County.
In Johnson County, Highway 23- between Concordia and Knob Noster- is closed again after being reopened to traffic on Tuesday, August 4.
