A Fayette man charged with multiple felonies, including murder, plead guilty on Wednesday, August 19.

Alfredo Demario Hicks Jr. was charged with a Class A Felony for Murder in the First Degree; two Class D Felonies, including Tampering with a Witness in a Felony Prosecution and Receiving Stolen Property and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action in connection with the shooting death of 29-year-old John L. Turner, of Poplar Bluff, who was found deceased inside his vehicle from an apparent gunshot wound at approximately 1:30 p.m. on December 30, 2019.

Hicks plead guilty to all charges during a hearing on Wednesday, August 19. A Sentencing Hearing in this case is scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7 at Howard County Circuit Court.
