Spectator regulations have been released by administrators in the Marshall Public School District for events this weekend.

According to a release from Athletic Director Kristen Niemeyer, attendance will be limited for the football game on Bob Fairchild Field at Chillicothe at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 28.

Gates will open at 6 p.m., and spectators will be limited to parents, siblings and grandparents. To enter, patrons will need to show an I.D. Names were collected by the coach and put on a list. If you are not on the list, you cannot attend.

Social-distancing guidelines will be in effect at all times. Administrators encourage spectators to wear a face covering when social distancing is not possible. Concessions will be limited to prepackaged items and popcorn only.

For a softball tournament that is scheduled to be played all day on Saturday, August 29, at Marshall High School and Indian Foothills Park in Marshall, administrators say the district is at “Orange” level, which means each participant will get two tickets for entry. If you do not have a ticket, you cannot attend. There will be no general admission.
