
Increasing by more than 1,100 on Thursday, September 10, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases has topped 97,000 in the state since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the total was 97,591- up from 96,475 on Wednesday, September 9.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by 18 from 1,673 on Wednesday to 1,691 on Thursday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 11.
