There were five more COVID-19 related deaths reported in Pettis County over the weekend bringing that total to 16.

In addition to these new deaths, there were 56 new cases of the virus reported taking the total number of cases in Pettis County to 1,000. There are currently 171 active cases with three people still hospitalized.

With these new numbers, there are 813 persons who have been released from observation as of Monday afternoon.

There is no part of the county, an industry or a commercial sector that has not had positive cases. The need to quarantine employees when there is a positive case is a hardship for the business.
