Beginning on Monday, September 28, the Pettis County Road & Bridge Department will close a portion of Elm Branch Road for bridge replacement. The location of the project is between Van Slyke Road and the Henry County line in far southwestern Pettis County.

The affected portion of the road is expected to be closed through March for completion of the project.  All work is weather and equipment breakdown dependent.

Motorists traveling the area are urged to make plans to take an alternate route and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
