On Thursday, October 22, Governor Mike Parson appointed William P. Devoy as Associate Circuit Judge for the 9th Judicial Circuit that serves Sullilvan, Linn and Chariton counties. He will fill the Associate Circuit Judge vacancy created by the death of the Honorable Scot T. Othic.

Devoy, of Brookfield, is currently an Attorney at Elson & Devoy, P.C. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rockhurst University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.
