Marshall Mayor Julie Schwetz declares November as DECA month. On Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Saline County Career Center, Marshall Mayor Julie Schwetz signed a proclamation designating November as DECA Month.

“I, Julie Schwetz, by virtue of the authority vested in me as mayor of the City of Marshall in the State of Missouri do hereby proclaim the month of November as DECA Month and ask our community to support our local DECA Chapter and to promote and encourage student and community involvement,” she read from the proclamation.

Following the signing and presentation of a copy of the proclamation to the DECA students, each student introduced themselves and described their projects this year.
