
A 28-year-old Nelson resident charged with a sex-related felony involving a juvenile earlier this year has a court proceeding scheduled this week.
A probable-cause statement says on March 28, the victim expressed to her mother that she was experiencing physical discomfort from inappropriate sexual acts. The girl later described the incident in explicit details to a child-safe investigator.
Kenneth Dean Nease II is charged with a Class A Felony for Child Molestation in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree. Bond remains at $250,000 cash only.
Nease entered a plea of not guilty on July 13. A pre-trial conference is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 20, and a two-day jury trial is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Saline County Circuit Court.
