Judging in an area city’s Christmas Lighting Contest was held on Tuesday, December 8.

According to a news release, taking first place in the Slater Chamber of Commerce Christmas Lighting Contest was Phil Stanley at 745 North Main Street.

Finishing second was Tom Martin at 430 North Euclid. Richard Dennis at 357 West Maple was third.

Voted as the fourth-place finisher was Jim Gochenour at 520 Heiler. And Sammy Krog at 210 North Morgan was fifth.
