A councilman who has spent more than a decade on the city’s governing body informed the council he will not be seeking another term during the Municipal Election.

Tom Hagedorn has served six two-year terms as Marshall Ward 4 Councilman made his announcement during the council meeting on Monday, January 4.

Filing for council seats in each ward remains open during regular business hours at the City Office Building until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19.

The Municipal Election is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, April 6.
