
The Saline County University of Missouri Extension Council will be conducting its annual election to select council members to serve on the local council for a two-year term.
A news release says voting is open Monday, January 18, through at 12 p.m. Friday, January 29.
The Extension Council provides input and direction to University of Missouri Extension educational programming in Saline County.
Any Saline County resident age 18 or older who wishes to vote in this election may either: Go to the website <http://extension.missouri.edu/saline>, select “County Council” to open the election option and vote online.
You can request a paper ballot by phone (660) 886-6908 or via e-mail at johnstonmm@missouri.edu with your name and address and a ballot will be mailed to you.
You can vote in person by coming to the Saline County Extension Office to pick up or fill out a ballot at 353 South Lafayette Avenue in Marshall.
All ballots must be postmarked by January 25 and received at the Saline County Extension office by noon Friday, January 29.
