David A. Howard, age 70, of Glasgow and formerly of Slater, died Sunday, January 24, 2021, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital.

Per his request, he will be cremated and no services will be held. 

Weiker Funeral Home in Slater is in charge of the arrangements.

Born May 31, 1950 in California, Missouri, he was the son of the late Uel R. and Mildred Mae Pearcy Howard.  

He is survived by a brother, Dale Howard of Slater; and a sister, Brenda Mancell of Wellington.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Don Howard; and a sister, Beverly Penny.

Mr. Howard had worked in oil fields, and was an over the road truck driver until his retirement.
