Larry J. Nease, 75, of Slater, MO, died Friday, January 22, 2021 at his daughter’s home in Slater.

The family will hold a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church in Marshall with Pastor Rodney Haggett officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Nelson Cemetery in Nelson.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.  Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or American Kidney Foundation.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born May 27, 1945 in Marshfield, MO, he was the son of the late John Nease and Lora Lee Bohannon Nease.  On March 15, 1985 he married Connie Sue Gibson who survives of the home.  Larry worked at International Shoe in Marshall and San Antonio Shoes in Del Rio, TX, as well as being a jack of all trades.  He was a longtime member of Olivet Freewill Baptist Church, until its closing, and was a current member of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Connie; he is survived by four sons: Larry Lee Nease of Missouri, Paul J. Nease of Cole Camp, Larry Randal Nease of Nelson and Stephen Andrew Nease of Wooldridge; three daughters: Lora Mae Hostetter of Higginsville, Tracy Renee Brown of Slater and Crystal Suzanne Hanes of Sweet Springs; 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard Nease of Niangua; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; nine brothers and two sisters.
