Bond has been set at six figures for a 43-year-old Corder man who has been charged with multiple felonies after a reported incident on Sunday, January 24.

A probable-cause statement says authorities were dispatched to the report of a domestic disturbance involving a firearm on Pettyville Road in Corder.

Kevin Manning is alleged to have fired multiple rounds from a rifle into an excavator and shot a bullet through the windshield of a truck. He also allegedly attacked a man and shoved him to the ground, causing an injury to the man; and crashed a UTV into a garage.

Court documents say Manning is charged with Class B Felonies for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Discharging or Shooting a Firearm at or from a Motor Vehicle, Shooting at a Person, Motor Vehicle or Habitable Building or Structure- Persistent Offender; a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; and a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Exhibiting. Bond is set at $150,000 cash only.

Manning pleaded not guilty during his arraignment hearing on Monday, January 25. His next hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
